Targets thrown from various distances and angles, sporting clays courses are designed to simulate hunting for ducks, pheasants, quail or even rabbits! Hunters can practice their skill in any season on the STC Sporting Clays range. We’re here year round.
5 stand consist of targets shot in 25 bird increments from five shooting stands with each shooter rotating from station to station. The game offers several different skill levels and utilizes six to eight automatic traps to simulate game birds.
Trapshooting is a specific form of clay target shooting where the clay “birds” always originates from a single location or “trap”. This gives an element of predictability that makes this game inviting to beginners as well!

No shot size larger than 7.5 (acceptable sizes: 7.5, 8, 8.5 or 9). Note: the higher the number, the smaller the size of the actual BB’s.
No Dram Equivalent greater than 3 ¼ (amount of powder in the shell).
Yes, shooting solo is easy. We have an automated system that throws targets in a delay after you push the trap release button. We will be happy to answer any questions when you arrive.
Yes! We hold monthly NSCA shoots and a tuesday night league. Call for info.
Yes, all visitors must submit a signed STC Sporting Clays Waiver & Release form before being permitted to use the range. Please download the form from our Range Rules section and bring it with you if you're a new shooter to our range. Thank you!
